	And while we're on the subject, why is it that nowadays the
cartoon producers seem to think that a cartoon simply _m_u_s_t have at
least one stupid kiddie-poo character to make the show work?  I am
referring to herbie (FF), the Bat-critter whose name I forget (the
more recent Batman cartoons), the pet monkey (Super Friends), etc.,
 ad nauseum.  I don't have too much pride to maintain my comic
book addiction as an adult, but shows like this would have turned me
off during my formative years.  I wish they'ed bring back the OLD
Spider-Man, Fantastic Four, The impossibles, Birdman, Johnny Quest
lineup of yesteryear.
