Invariably during a week of netnews, one or two articles will show up containing a line like, "I don't know if this is the right group to post this in..." or, "Sorry if you've already seen this article, but I've just started reading netnews..." Almost invariably, these articles come from people at organizations that don't have much exposure to the net, like, oh, Bell Labs. I HAVE A DAMNABLY HARD TIME BELIEVING that these sites are so devoid of netnews readers or that these people are so isolated in their work environments that they are totally unable to ask a coworker about such things and have to resort to posting articles. C'MON, PEOPLE! IF YOU DON'T KNOW HOW TO USE SOMETHING, ASK AROUND AND DON'T BOTHER THE WHOLE NET UNLESS NO ONE KNOWS LOCALLY! Sorry for shouting, but whew, that felt good...
