They have all been members of one of the following groups: Intravenous drug users Recipients of blood transfusions People whose sexual partner (or the transative closure of that relation) have had homosexual relations Haitian immigrants (one of the biggest mysteries of the disease) Children of someone in one of these groups In particular, NO ONE in the health fields who works with and around AIDS patients has ever contracted the disease if he did not fall into one of the above categories. All evidence points to AIDS being extremely difficult to catch.
