I doubt very seriously whether anyone is going to take to the streets over this issue. This news group is probably one of the few forums in the country where this is a hot issue. Secondly, I didn't mean to say that smoking was a "victimless crime". Rather, I meant to say that we should get rid of laws which try to provide punishments for "victimless crimes", instead of adding more laws, especially about something as rediculous as people smoking/not smoking. I probably am just as annoyed as you are when a smoker exhales in my face, or I get caught in a long meeting in a smoke filled room.
