Another point regarding the Boston traffic lights.  Instead of telling you that
you cannot make a left turn at this time (e.g. a red arrow or a sign) there are
green arrows pointing every possible direction you can go (up, right, even 
diagonal if possible at that intersection) by the time you figure out if
you can go or not the light is red again.
