It seems to all boil down to the fact that we know more about what he is talking about than he does, and he doesn't seem to know that he doesn't know what he is talking about. Now quite a few of BYTE's subscribers don't know a lot about computers, and when one individual's mistaken opinions are published as facts it should be pointed out. So, instead of moaning about how bad his column is, and how he is misinforming people as he chews on his feet, why don't we all write in and tell our opinions to the editors of BYTE? Maybe if we knowledgable people express our distrust of Jerry's articles to BYTE (and give concrete reasons), then they will put a leash on him.
