Note that the smokers feel offended by your attempt to ban it as well, and there are large numbers of them as well. Historically, the majority has been seriously wrong about a number of things. It was offensive to give Blacks and women the vote, wasn't it? Or to allow Blacks into movie theaters? During World War 2 people destroyed thousands of German Shepards, since they were an offensive breed (unless you called them Alsatians). Such a basis for decision is very frightening for those of us who are well aware that in other times we would likely have been put to death for our beliefs. How do you justify your ban? If you have no other basis than your dislike of smoking (which I share) how do you prevent injustices in our day and age? laura creighton utzoo!utcsstat!laura
