I was watching some TV last night.  In the middle of "Our
Times" (the new Bill Moyers documentary show), an advertise-
ment for Apple came on.  Apple Computer, Inc has taken the
meaning of the words "arrogant" and "self-centered" to new
lows: the FIRST statement the narrator of the commercial
makes is, "When Apple invented the personal computer..."
with the emphasis on "invented."

WHERE IN THE !#$%^&*()_+=- DOES APPLE GET OFF CLAIMING
TO HAVE "INVENTED" THE PERSONAL COMPUTER?!?  IT SEEMS TO
ME THAT THINGS LIKE THE ALTAIR (AMONG OTHERS) WERE OUT
THERE ONE :;/?><,&.{} LONG TIME BEFORE APPLE CAME INTO
EXISTENCE!!
