It seems to me that it's a case of spending megabucks to stop something that simply is not going to stop (if you don't believe me, go read something or another about Prohibition). As a taxpayer I'm pretty damned sick and tired of seeing all that money go to trying to stop illegal marijuana shipments, arresting and jailing (putting up room and board) for dealers, and the like. Why the hell is it not legalised, and let the Feds (or the state, or who-the-hell-ever) put a nice fat tax on it? Let it be sold in licensed liquor stores (where the minors can't get thir grubby little hands on it- or at least not as easily as they can now), and get a little profit from it! It's not going to go away- it's not going to stop- all that can arise from keeping the illegal weed illegal is to enrich the coffers of a few organized crime barons (or dons, or what-the-hell-ever), and get more of our people killed smuggling it, growing it, or arresting the growers and the smugglers. Get with it people! - no i ain't a doper but by God i am a taxpayer the dark avenger Jobe (!ssc-vax!jobe)
