Not long ago, I was driving to work in a heavy fog. I had anough visibility to drive at about 20 mph, and I was in fact driving between 20 and 25. I prepared to make the left turn across the two lane road (which is marked for 50 mph) and suddenly jammed on the brakes, detecting some motion in the fog. It was a good thing that I did, since two cars, both large american sedans, both painted metallic silver, both doing about 40 without ANY lights, and about 30 feet apart came down the opposing lane through the fog! I would charge the bastards with attempted murder. By the way, what are peoples experiences with the yellow ``fog lamps'' that are used? How well do they work? How are they normally adjusted? Like low beams? Like high beams? Mark Terribile
