I vote for #2 & #10. (You did say mutiple choice. I chose multiple
things...) I believe that organized crime is the most powerful,
special-interest, lobby group IN THE WORLD! They are the ones who
will lose from legalization. Prohibition in the 20's demonstrated
that consumption/possesion laws must be updated with the times.

Why is it that the 2d (rumor only) largest cash crop of this
country goes untaxed? In this country, NOTHING that is taxable
is untaxed. Strictly speaking as a taxpayer, I would like to see
more tax revenues come form somewhere other than my pocket!

Why is it that we can make something illegal that grows naturally?
[It is, in fact, just another weed. Let's make crabgrass
illegal too! That would make all the landscapers in the country happy! :-( ]

Believe it or not, the NRA's argument against gun control is 
appropriate here. Gun's do not kill; people do! Just as we do not
legislate the possesion of guns away, but we DO jail those who use them
to commit a crime, the same can be said for drugs. (Whiskey is a drug
also, and one which is MANUFACTURED, not GROWN!) If one commits
a crime while "under the influence", I say "THROW THE BOOK AT THEM!"

THE MERE CONSUMPTION/POSSESION OF A DRUG SHOULD NOT BE A CRIME
IN ITSELF!!!!!!!.....rob
