Although I weary of the continuing debate on this issue,
I still must submit to the urge to add my few cents' worth
of opinion.   For you smokers - we all die someday; do as 
you please.  For you (us) non-smokers - carry a little
fan around with you;  when you get near someone who is
madly fuming away, whip it out and fan the smoke away from
yourself (and back towards its source if you can).

It's like being chased by a bear.  You don't argue with
the bear in an attempt to convince him not to eat you.
You run away.
