I have noticed that before as the chief problem of the cloverleaf interchange. The cloverleaf was designed with the noble purpose of arranging that no one at the interchange have to wait hours to make a left turn; however, it does have the defect of requiring the entering and exiting traffic to cross each other within about the width of an overpass.
