In Vancouver, WA the freeway (Interstate 5) entrance ramps come up to a 
yield sign, then a 90 degree right turn onto the right lane of traffic.
Most people come to a dead stop at the yield signs, making it difficult for them
or anyone else to get out into traffic.  

(This situation may have changed since I last was there 2-3 years ago)
