Russia is by no means going to want to admit that they blew it. If they respond at all. I am not discounting the possibility that the pilot that actually fired the missle, may have had an emotional problem..psychotic. There may have been a mechanical error that caused the missle to launch when the pilot thought that he was only 'arming' the missle .... the list goes on...I'm trying to be kind and positive, but when I think of Russia's non-chelonce(sp?) at the entire thing so far, I feel that they know that they blew it. There are too many described procedures that HAVE to be followed. They even take into account the possibilities that the offending craft's radio might be dead. In any case the attacking pilot probably saw the people in the cabin before he shot the airliner down. "all in all.. it's just another brick in the wall.." (** FRODO **) alias hou5f!jrt
