Consider: the majority of legislators at the state, provincial, and national levels are lawyers. And what do these persons do for a living? Why, of course, they pass laws! Which, ipso facto, e pluribus unum, and primer inter pares, creates more jobs for lawyers! It's equivalent to letting MD's take potshots out of the hospital windows on slow days!
