	standing young gentlemen."  HEY!  How about thinking of the victim
	for once.  I'm getting sick and tired of hearing all the bleeding
	heart liberal garbage of protecting the criminals rights.  Some-
	where the rights of the victims have been forgotten.
	
	I am not saying that we should all go back to the days of the Old
	West and carry our Colt 45's, however let us not make the victim of
	a mugging, robbery, etc., a second victim just because they
	protected themselves from a crime.

Despite my feelings about "bleeding heart liberals", I can't attribute
the ignoring of victims to them.  I attribute it to mere (but utterly
blatant) stupidity, compounded with a healty dose of paranoia (the other
guy can't be trusted), selfishness (it's not ME, and she might hit me),
and fear(but if a LOL has a gun, what about that big <fillin>).

Somehow, I don't think that most of the peole who make statements
like that really understand that taking guns away from everybody will
REALLY only take guns away from LAW ABIDING CITIZENS!  Then, the only
two groups that will have guns will be criminals and rednecks.
Somehow, I don't think that's any improvement.
