With all the negative stuff about Jartran, I am compelled to
relate that in my one (1) dealing with them, I had a good
experience.
I had just found a place to live in the Bay Area and needed a van
to get my stuff up here from LA. I reserved a 15' van on Tuesday
PM and picked it up Wednesday AM. Finished loading, moving, and
unloading by 8:30 that night - by which time all the Jartran
offices were closed. Went to one place the next morning to return
it - all full, couldn't take any more. Went to another and
delivered OK.
One side note: the Jartran guy in LA didn't have a full tank of
gas in the van, and told me to return it with about the same
amount of gas in it. The guy I returned it to in San Jose was
more than a bit miffed at his LA counterpart.
I will have need of a 15' van tomorrow night, and may use Jartran
again. If I do, I'll let y'all know how it goes.
