There is a bit of irony in the gun control laws that would require everyone
to register their firearms. Current federal laws prohibit criminals and 
convicted felons from possessing firearms and the constitution prohibits the
goverment from forcing anyone to incriminate themselves. Therefore criminals
would be exempt from gun control registration laws because to force them to
comply would be forcing them to convict themselves of a crime.
