I am curious to know how a play by mail operates on a basic operational level - what sort of information is sent to the person who runs the game, what information he send back, how frequent this exchange usually is, how much the services are, etc. I realize that a net.games.pbm bboard exists but finding out what I want to know from it is like trying learning to program from the net.lang.c bboard - sure you learn a lot (sometimes) but it won't get you started. In particular I'm interested in fantasy type games and since some of readers seem to have tried this sort of thing before i'd be interested in their remarks/opinions. Steve Alexander
