Lines: 23 1) This topic should move to net.tv. 2) I'm posting here anyway. Yes, I remember "Turn On". It aired one Tuesday in February of 1971(?) at 7:00. ABC, I believe. The only thing I remember about it was a skit with Tim Conway which went: Woman: Do you love me? Tim: Love you? How can I love you? I don't even know you. For all I know, you're a pot-smoking [12 other scummy things] Woman: I am a pot-smoking [12 other scummy things] Tim: I love you. This was done in four squares, like the frames of a cartoon. The whole show was like "Laugh-In" to an exponent of four -- very quick skits and lots of fast camera work. Definite drug and sex overtones, which probably caused the outrage that brought cancellation within days. Like "Green Acres", it was a show years ahead of its time.
