Anyway, Mel Blanc spoke at B.U. several years ago. (Best damn lecture I've ever been to. His first words were "Eeeeh What's up Doc!" The audience roared.) When someone mentioned the deteriorating quality of todays cartoons, Mel stated that the cartoonists have a strong union. Hence, it's far too expensive to make a cartoon today with the same quality as before. I believe Warner Brothers don't make cartoons any more. Such a shame. "Heepa-Heepa-Heepa-That's all, folks!!"
