(At the moment we are considering, among others, VAX 11/730, HP 9000 and Gould PS3000.) I would appreciate any useful information on what is available that meets the requirements below. Unconditioned (regular office) environment. 2. 32 bit processor, 1+ Mbyte memory (expandable). 3. Support for upto 10 terminals. 4. Disk capacity ~100 Mbytes, expandable. 5. IBM compatible tape drive. 6. Can be networked with other minis, IBM mainframe. Software requirements: 1. Data-base management system capable of handling ~100 Mbytes; must have query language; compatible with IBM mainframe. 2. Color business graphics package & terminals supported. 3. Languages: PL/1, Pascal, C. 4. Good text processing software, screen editor.
