Hello out there in net.jokes.d-land.  I put net.jokes on my options line
of the .newsrc file some time ago and not received any news from the
group net.jokes.  Does this mean that I must do something different to get
the jokes or does it mean it is just a dead newsgroup??

Please mail responses to me and thanks in advance.  Sorry if this is a stupid
question but please excuse the ignorance of this new USENET user...
