I have also been called every name in the book, so don't bother calling me any more; my mail really is going to /dev/null this time. What is interesting to me is the reaction that a slight against the gay population can evoke. If I may assume that those most upset by my comments are gay (there were a few comments from those who are not and were offended anyway) then they are an interesting lot, unlike those that I know personally (a relatively small sample). Most of the comments are terse, and indicative of a restricted perception no less bigoted than my com- ments. A psychologist could have a field day analysing some of the mail I have received. I really wonder if slights against blacks, jews, wasps ... whatever are taken as seriously; it seems not. As for what I assume everyone is so pissed off at, (the bit about 'flaming faggots'), I included that because of its half dozen or so connotations, and not too offend everyone who reads net.jokes. So to those I unduly offended, my apologies. To those whom I didn't offend I need say nothing more. To those that flamed back, judging from your replies you deserved to be offended, so f.o.a.d. kmtureski@watmath will no longer exist after Aug 15, so don't burn your fingers flaming at me.
