When I take a fortran 77 program that runs fine on VAX/VMS and get it to
run on f77 on 4.1 bsd UNIX for the VAX, everything is fine except that
it now seems to lose blank characters on output. All the non-blanks come
through, but some of the blanks get lost?? Does any one know what might
