	In a recent article to net.lang Dennis Ritchie made references
to three I/O packages that have existed for UNIX.  I believe that fin/fout
was the version 6 implementation, and that stdio is the V7 and later implem-
entation.  My question is what is the history of Lesk's portlib ? Was this
just and internal Bell product?
