Message-ID: <1985@utcsrgv.UUCP> Date: Wed, 17-Aug-83 16:45:23 EDT Article-I.D.: utcsrgv.1985 Posted: Wed Aug 17 16:45:23 1983 Date-Received: Wed, 17-Aug-83 19:53:32 EDT Organization: CSRG, University of Toronto Lines: 13 I have read this newsgroup for quite a while and am amazed at the low prices quoted for some of the micros on the market. For example, I have seen on net.micro.atari that an Atari 800 was priced at about $250 - $100 rebate from Atari for a net price of $150. I live in Canada (Toronto), and while there is a $200 rebate offered here by Atari, the original (list) price is $599, so the net price is still $399. Does anyone know whether I could get the U.S. rebate if I bought the machine by mail-order from the U.S.? Thanks in advance, Jerry Zarycky ..!utcsrgv!drz
