Micros are much more expensive in Canada because the Canadian government
imposes a stiff terriff to protect Canadian industries, particularly in
electronics.  It may just be that the wholesale price is that much more.
It might also be that they are holding you up.

Why don't you buy a unit in the states and take it home with you?
