We have several systems (~200) in the field that are
running a transaction enviroment under UNIX (tm).
Interface is to 3270-type synchronous terminals with a
DBMS that allows recovery from transaction failures and
head crashes. A special edition of the Bell System
Techical Journal (~May 1982) details the system --
Automated Repair Service Bureau.
