Can people please tell me how I can set up my personal computer so I can phone it from the office. I am interested in the different methods used for different micros so I am not going to mention that I have an IBM XT. On the back of the micro is an RS232 interface which connects to a Racal Vadic 300/1200 bps modem. It works fine for calling out bu I do not see how to go the other way. There is a command built in to the operating system so change to an auxiliary console, is that the way to do it? Do micros like the Apple have a similar command? I expect quite a few responses so please mail your answer to me and I shall post a summary article to the network. Thank you for you time, patience and assistance.
