Wordstar does indeed support proportional spacing of sorts if you
preface the file with a ^P, but this is not TRUE proportional spacing
since the latter must take the individual character sets of each
typestyle into account. Wordstar has a table of character spacings
resident in WS.COM, but it is not easily alterable for convenient
printwheel change. We can only hope that Micropro will soon turn some
attention to matters such as this as well as reasonably servicing the
dot matrix printers.
