Romkey Is there any way I can convince DOS 2.0 to load COMMAND.COM off some other drive than A:? I've tried setting COMSPEC and DOS ignored it; I assume that the value didn't get exported (to borrow a phrase) to DOS or something like that. I tried the SHELL configuration parameter and it did all the wrong things; it fetched COMMAND.COM from the right disk but then it didn't execute AUTOEXEC.BAT and COMSPEC still had the same old A:\COMMAND.COM as its value. Thanks. - John Romkey romkey@mit-csr
