	(I wanted to send this article to net.suicide, but postnews kept telling
me there was no such group.)

	I know that statistically Black suicide rates have been lower
than those for Whites.  But I don't recall seeing any comparison between
the rates recently, and since the suicide of a friend six months ago (aged
19), this issue has become an important concern of mine.  Does anyone
know where I could obtain such statistics?  I would also appreciate in-
formation as to where I can obtain stats on the increasing rates of 
suicides among young (teenage - young adult) Blacks.
