We were turned down: too expensive. Since the cost of gasoline, auto insurance, etc comes out of our pockets, I guess what management meant was showers were too expensive for the company, and the overall tradeoff was irrelevant. AMD has a lot of good points and I don't want to single them out for this, but rather to point out that government intervention is called for in some cases.
