Tell your friend in Houston, TX not to laugh at New Yorkers
who pronounce Houston St as "How-stun."  In reality, the street
was named for someone named Houston (pronounced How-stun), NOT
Sam Houston (pronounced Hyu-stun).  For the life of me, I can't
remember who this NY-Houston fella was (maybe the contractor who
put in that street???)...
