Jeff Sargent mentioned the desirability of keeping the lid down. I would like to raise the following issue ( or is it (t)issue :-) ) How many of you ( presumably men ) have been standing relieving yourselves, when the toilet seat has fallen down, because of some cover placed over it to make it look pretty/feel comfortable, which moves its center of gravity forward of the hinge.
