I know a guy here who is mostly only known as "murph the merciless" because that is the name he used on rogue back when rogue was big stuff here. I know another guy whose login name was "depraved" and he recently had it changed to plain old "dave" (we lost the guy who owned the 'dave' login). Many people still refer to him as "depraved". It has gotten so bad that our Technical Computing people have demanded people not change login names after the first of October. (You better pick a name you can live with).
