We Californians pronounce Baja [Bah - hah], but these wisconsinites pronounced it like it's spelled. In great excitement, one said to the other, "Look, Wally! A Ba-Ja Bug!". My brother and I couldn't stop laughing, and the natives probably thought we were crazy. -Glenn
