Lines: 18 I collected movie posters, lobby cards, stills, etc. for many years. Unfortunately, I ended up selling much of my collection to pay for my college tuition. Prices are now much higher than they were when I was in the market. I bought the one-sheet poster from "Taxi Driver" for $8.00 back in 1976. I'm sure that's gone up quite a bit. I bought many posters through the mail, but I also went to used book stores, nostalgia shops, movie memorabilia shops, movie and comic book conventions, etc. As beesvax!katz pointed out, the posters from re-issues of films are usually not very interesting. Also, even if you love a particular film, you might not love the posters that were created to advertise that film. That is why it is a good idea to actually see the poster or at least get a good description of the poster before buying. Of course, you should protect your investment by getting it framed immediately. -Sarah
