Hmm. First let me tell you where I stand. I am an SCTV junkie. I spent countless Fridays ho-humming through Carson until the quality comedy show came on. Also I was waiting for the release of Strange Brew with eager unsatiatiable anticipation. To say the very least, Iwas far from beaing disappointed. If you enjoy SCTV, do not hesitate to see Strange Brew. It was the funniest movie I've seen since Friday the 13th Part 3 in 3-D (which wasn't even supposed to be a comedy. I think it was the atmosphere). It has been a long time since a comedy has been released with childish actors that really are FUNNY! There is also the perfect blend of satire, from hackers and Star Wars to Hamlet. So I'm biased. I liked it. It was well worth $4.50.
