J. Lines: 8 I've gotten messages back from unix-wizards as well. I presume that these are caused by flaky Arpanet/CSnet mailers, or by logins being removed from machines before they are deleted from the mailing list. Unfortunately I don't know who handles unix-wizards on the arpanet side (sri-unix is just the gateway to USENET), and as for resending mail to Arpanet addresses, the probability of success is practically nil.
