I would like to propose a new group for people interested in
brain teasers, statistics puzzles, logic puzzles, etc.

Proposed name is net.puzzles.

I think that the recent rash of about 50 articles in net.misc
on the "Simple statistics problem" is rationale enough, and I
do not think that this should fall under the realm of net.games

SO, DO NOT HIT THE 'r' key with this one!!  Take the time and effort
to be a good little boy/girl/hacker and post an article to net.news.group
with a title like: Re: net.puzzle

I would love it if I saw not ONE followup to this article in net.general,
although I realize that it takes a lot of Partytime ice to bring Hell
down to a simmer; but let's put our money where our mouth is and try, OK?
