As of September 1 (after the distribution of the next map) all
updates to the Usenet Compact Directory that are sent to
cbosgd!map will be acknowledged.  There has been quite a problem
with mail that apparently does not get through.  Quite frankly,
I'm getting a little tired of receiving irate notes that tell
me that despite repeatedly being told, I haven't made corrections.
Well, the chances are that when this happens, I HAVEN'T been
told.  So, if you send a correction to me and don't receive
an acknowledgement in a reasonable amount of time (say 2 weeks),
please resend it because I probably haven't gotten it.

Also, if you have trouble getting mail through to cbosgd!map,
as a last resort you can post your corrections to net.news.map.
But only use this as a last resort please.
