A couple of nights ago on the local TV news, they had a segment on New
Jersey's new execution chamber. One of the terms they used was "Execution
Technician". ETs! What a nice euphemism! Sounds more professional and
innocuous than Executioner (ala "Sanitary Engineer"). Any suggestions for
nicer (nice in its classical meaning) euphemisms? How about Thanatician?
