		Heat

	The heat,
	grinning wickedly,
	stifled us.

	My friends,
	watched by the heat,
	clashed.

	An hour later,
	the heat apologized,
	amidst a
	wonderous display of
	lightning;

	it rained.

	A beautiful, soothing,

	run outside and tilt your face,
	mouth open,
	to partake of the

	coolness,

	rain.
