I too have a strong distaste for Kissigner. Having read "The Sideshow", I feel he committed criminal acts during the Vietnam war. I am not remotely happy to see him return to a high position in government. In every other respect, I thought Buckley's article was rather silly. Mentioning Rockefeller, Soviet communist conspiracy and Kissinger in one breath sounds suspiciously like the official line of the John Birch Society. I might also add that Panama's government (Buckley referred to it as a Marxist dictatorship) is undoubtedly the most completely US controlled state south of the boarder! As for backing the "terrorist takeover" in Rhodesia, I might remind everyone that Mugabe was chosen in an election supervised by the English government.
