  There was a note in net.micros about the 186. It was from an INTEL guy who
said that the 186 was being supported and that all the information about
documented errors in the chip design are being distributed with the chips.
He seemed to feel that the 186 is for a different market than the 286. You
might want to check out that notesfile and see if your machine still has
the article.
