For those who enjoyed the other books in "the Pelbar cycle", The Breaking of 
Northwall, The Ends of the Circle, The Dome in the Forest, and The Fall of the 
Shell, the fifth book just hit the stands (paperback, $2.95).  Titled "An Ambush
of Shadows", it picks up the story after a portion of the third book, not the 
end of the fourth one.

The publisher is billing this as "Book Five of..." but it's not really a series,
merely several books all set in the same place at approximately the same time.  
All of them so far have been well worth reading.
