I saw the movie Metalstorm, the destruction of Jered-Syn, last weekend
and to be brief I thought it stunk.  It is a 3-D Sci Fi Western.  I think
they must have blown their budget on the 3-D process and had nothing left
over for writers, etc.  Most of the action consists of armored dune buggy
chases reminisent of Road Warrior but not nearly as gripping.  Not worth a
spoiler though the LA Times had some good words for it.
